Official Terms, Conditions & Shipping Policy

Our products are not mass-produced shelf items; each piece is carefully handcrafted and custom-designed especially for you. Because the creation process requires time, dedication, and attention to every single detail, we handcraft, pack, and hand over your order to the shipping company within 14 business days.

Since these are custom creations involving international shipping partners, we officially state a delivery timeframe of up to 30 business days as a safety buffer. However, as mentioned - in the vast majority of cases, shipments arrive well before the stated deadline, and your special item will land on your doorstep much faster.

* Please note: "Business days" do not include Fridays, Saturdays, and official national or religious holidays.

Due to the unique nature of artisan, handcrafted manufacturing, slight variations in color, texture, shading, or exact dimensions may occur compared to the images displayed on the website. These variations are natural, inherent to handwork, and are not considered manufacturing defects - rather, they are what make your piece truly one-of-a-kind.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010, which exempt goods manufactured specially for the consumer according to the consumer's specifications from the standard cancellation right, orders for products that have been custom-designed, personalized, or made-to-order cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged for reasons of preference, unless the product arrives with a manufacturing defect or is materially different from what was ordered.

We pack every single item with the utmost love and maximum protection for transit. If your product arrives damaged or defective, please take photos of the item inside its original packaging and contact us as soon as possible, and in any event within 24 hours of delivery, so we can arrange a repair, replacement, or refund. Reporting sooner helps us resolve the issue faster, but does not by itself limit your statutory rights regarding defective goods.

For any products purchased through this site that are not custom-designed, personalized, or made-to-order (where such products are offered), you may cancel the transaction within 14 days of receiving the product, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981. We may deduct a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the product price or ₪100, whichever is lower. To cancel, contact us at shermanartworks@gmail.com or via WhatsApp, and return the product in its original condition. This clause does not apply to custom-designed, personalized, or made-to-order items, which are governed by Section 3 above.

Payments on this site are processed by HYP Pay, a licensed Israeli payment services provider. Card details are entered on HYP Pay's own secure payment page and are never seen, handled, or stored by Sherman Art Works.

All prices include VAT and are charged in New Israeli Shekels (ILS). Any price displayed in another currency is an approximate conversion shown for convenience only and is not the amount charged. The exact shekel amount is shown to you before you confirm payment.

Your order is confirmed only once payment has been approved and verified. If a payment is declined or cancelled, no charge is made and your cart is left as it was.

You may also place an order through WhatsApp instead of paying by card, and we will arrange payment with you directly.

Sherman Art Works reserves the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, and to refund the amount actually paid in full within 7 days of the cancellation. This may happen, among other cases, where a product was displayed or charged at an incorrect price (including a price of zero or any other clearly erroneous amount) as a result of a technical fault, a software bug, or any manipulation of the site, the cart, or the checkout process; where the item is no longer available; or where the order cannot be fulfilled for any other reason.

An order confirmation or a payment approval does not oblige us to supply an item that was priced or charged in error. In such a case our sole obligation is to refund the amount actually paid, within the period stated above, and no further claim shall lie against us in respect of the cancellation.

Prices are shown in Israeli shekels (₪) or US dollars ($). You can switch between the two at the top of any page; the English pages show dollars by default and the Hebrew pages shekels. Orders are charged in Israeli shekels, and your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate and fees on top.

Displayed prices include Israeli VAT. VAT applies to orders delivered within Israel; goods exported from Israel are zero-rated, so no Israeli VAT is charged on an international order. Prices are the same either way - we do not add VAT to overseas orders, and we do not vary the price by destination.

Shipping within Israel costs ₪35. International shipping costs $45.

For all international orders (including the United States), shipments may be subject to local customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or brokerage fees in accordance with the laws of the destination country. All such taxes, duties, or fees are the sole responsibility of the customer and must be paid by the customer directly to the local customs authorities or the courier company upon delivery.

In the event that a package is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete shipping details provided by the customer, failure to respond to the local shipping courier, or refusal to pay local customs duties or taxes, the customer will not be refunded for the shipping costs (both ways).

The website management and/or the shipping company shall not be held liable for any delay, disruption, or failure in delivery caused by Force Majeure or events beyond their reasonable control. In such events, the countdown of business days for delivery will be paused and will resume only once regular economic activity and shipping services fully return to normal.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the website management be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the purchase of products or delays in delivery. In any case, our total liability shall be strictly limited to the actual amount paid by the customer for the specific product in question.

Exclusive Jurisdiction: This Agreement and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising hereunder.
