Hanukkah Gift Ideas

A handmade menorah first, then Judaica for Shabbat and the holiday table, and how to have it ready for the first night.

Everything here is made by hand in our family studio in Karnei Shomron, Israel. These are the pieces we would choose for Hanukkah.

  • Our Hanukkah menorahs are 20% off until December 4, 2026, with the discount applied automatically.
  • Shipping is ₪35 within Israel and $45 internationally, or collect from our gallery in Karnei Shomron.

What is the best Hanukkah gift?

A menorah. It is the one object Hanukkah cannot do without, it is lit on eight nights every year, and a good one is kept for decades and handed down. Ours are made of double-sided handmade glass in three shapes and eight colors, with silver-tone or gold-tone sockets and base, all at the same price. Until December 4, 2026, every menorah is 20% off.

Some families give a small gift on each of the eight nights. If the menorah is the gift, give it before the first night, so it can be lit from the start: this year that means before Friday afternoon, December 4.

Are Shabbat candlesticks a good Hanukkah gift?

Yes, especially this year. Hanukkah 2026 begins on a Friday and includes two Fridays, when the Hanukkah lights are kindled just before the Shabbat candles. A pair of candlesticks gives the family a beautiful place for the Shabbat candles all year, and a place beside the menorah at Hanukkah.

Our candlesticks come in glass with 925 silver plating, with gold plating, or as artisanal glass pairs with no plating at all.

Is a Kiddush cup a good Hanukkah gift?

A Kiddush cup is a gift that is used every week, and this Hanukkah it comes to the table on both Friday nights of the festival. Ours are shaped by hand in glass with a 925 silver-plated or gold-plated rim, tall or low, and there is a ceramic cup decorated with a menorah symbol.

Why give a Havdalah set at Hanukkah?

Because the Saturday night of Hanukkah brings the two together: Shabbat ends with Havdalah, and then the Hanukkah candles are lit. In 2026 that is Saturday, December 5, the second night. Each of our sets has a cup, a spice box and a candle holder on a matching tray, in 925 silver-plated or gold-plated glass.

What can you give a host at a Hanukkah party?

A glass tray or bowl. Hanukkah is a season of gatherings around the menorah, the doughnuts and the latkes, and a handmade tray or bowl is a gift the host will bring out again at every holiday table. Ours come in 925 silver-plated, gold-plated and artisanal glass.

How soon should you order for Hanukkah?

As early as you can. Most pieces are made to order and ship within 14 business days, and some are in stock and ship right away. Message us before you order and we will tell you what is in stock and what can reach you before the first night, Friday, December 4.

For orders abroad, customs in the destination country can add time and charges.

What if they already have a menorah?

Then a second menorah can still be the right gift, or a piece for the Shabbat table can be. In Ashkenazi homes each member of the family usually lights their own menorah, so a family with children often needs more than one, and many families keep a second menorah for a window where it can be seen from the street.

If you choose for the table instead, match what they already use: a silver-tone menorah sits naturally beside 925 silver-plated candlesticks, and a gold-tone one beside gold-plated pieces. When in doubt, send us a photo of their table and we will suggest something that fits.

What about Hanukkah gifts for a team or a community?

For colleagues, clients or a synagogue, choose one design and give the same piece to everyone, so the gift reads as a set. Message us before you order several pieces, because every item is made to order and a larger order needs more time in the studio.

Can you make a Hanukkah gift more personal?

Yes. Every menorah is handcrafted in our studio and can be customized to the colors and design you have in mind. Contact us to discuss your idea and receive a personalized quote.
